Orleans Bar and Kitchen Located on the fringes of Britomart and describing itself as a 'liquor kitchen', this is the perfect place to grab a delicious cocktail to enjoy with one of their signature dishes. These include Po Boys, big bowls, small bowls and sweet bowls. This place oozes cool New Orleans, with soul and jazz bands providing the soundtrack while you down your chicken waffles.

Federal Delicatessen The creation of local lad Al Brown. Living in New York it seems he couldn't get enough of their Jewish style delis. Brimming with well crafted menu options and a culture of generosity, love and informality this place is perfectly matched to our local scene. From pancakes and a 'cup o' joe' in the morning to hearty lunch sandwiches and late night cocktails and cheesecake you'll be transported to the heart of New York in the Heart of the City.

Best Ugly Bagels Jumping the boarder a smidgen to New York's cousin Montreal, Al Brown's baglery serves up hand rolled and woodfired bagels baked fresh everyday. Themed in the stitch of simple but bold flavours the converted warehouse setting gives a warm and lively atmosphere.

Miss Clawdy Inspired by the 1952 New Orleans hit single, ‘Lawdy Miss Clawdy’, this North Wharf eatery feeds hungry hearts with edible goodness wrapped in a little southern magic.The kitchen here is a flurry of hot plates, fresh flavours and red-lipped belles. Dishes are designed for sharing and are big on flavour. and the team at Miss Clawdy's welcome people dining alone, right up to larger groups, with a table that seats 14.

Besos Latinos Straying away from the traditional American style eatery this is the first authentic Latin American gourmet restaurant in NZ. With market fresh seafood and fresh produce this is one to book in for a date night soon.
