White + Wong’s
A favourite Friday drinks spot when the weather is good, White + Wong’s makes for the perfect long lunch this summer. Bask in the sunshine and take in the views of the sparkling harbour with some delicious Asian inspired dishes and cold drinks.

O’Connell Street
Whether you’re after French food, some seriously good burgers, or are looking for fine dining, we highly recommend heading to O’Connell Street, where you’ll find a range of gorgeous eateries including Torchon, Al’s Deli, and O’Connell Street Bistro to name a few.

This newcomer to City Works Depot offers lunch options which are almost too pretty to eat. Choose from colourful sushi rolls, go for a bowl of noodles or try one of their fresh salads and enjoy your lunch in the sunshine at one of their big outdoor tables.

A Britomart favourite, Ortolana’s beautiful outdoor dining area is made for Auckland’s summer months. Relax and unwind after a hard morning of shopping at this gorgeous HIPGROUP eatery and make sure you stop by Milse for a gelato too.

La Zeppa
This Victoria Park venue has one of the best city views, with it’s enormous deck decorated with colourful lanterns. Park up with a cold brew, order a selection of items from their brilliant new menu, and enjoy a relaxing afternoon in the central city.

The Sugar Club
When it comes to epic views, Peter Gordon’s famed restaurant The Sugar Club can’t be topped. Order a selection of incredible dishes from the menu or go all out with the Chef’s Degustation. Either way, we recommend a round of cocktails from their talented bartenders too.

Undoubtedly one of the best eateries in Auckland’s central city, Euro is also home to one of the best harbour views in the city. In case you needed any more convincing, they also have a brand new extended rose wine list, just in time to celebrate the summer months.

Soul Bar & Bistro
With it’s gorgeous outdoor patio, hanging baskets, and serene view of the viaduct, Soul Bar & Bistro has been a long-time favourite of those who love to lunch. Their recent renovations and brand new menu are well worth checking out.

The interior of this new Britomart eatery is almost as gorgeous as the Italian style fare on their menu, making Amano a must-try for a long lunch. Get a table near the large windows looking out to Quay Street and soak up some sunshine.

Settle yourself in on the balcony at Harbourside Ocean Bar Grill and prepare to check out of all other activity for the afternoon. Sit back and enjoy the spectacular views out over Princess Wharf and the harbour. With a seafood laden menu you can choose to dine on everything from fresh oysters to sashimi, whole baked fish and more as you sip away on your drink of choice.
