Which came first: Sliders and “Dude Food” or Animal restaurant in Los Angeles? The answer is almost certainly Animal. It is all about carnivores at the hip LA restaurant led by Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo, who also run a host of other famous restaurants in the US. Animal is a no-nonsense, meat-centric and innovative dining establishment, whose cult status is equally popular with their female clientele.  

These cooking legends take no prisoners: “Changes and modifications politely declined” reads their menu. So dropping into Soul Bar & Bistro for one night only, the boys from Animal may just meet their match in the infallible team led by Judith Tabron executive chef Gavin Doyle and head chef Josh Hazel. Bring an open mind and a hearty appetite; this will be a great night out.
