Archived: Piki Exhibition

at Ellen Melville Centre

Piki is a project run by Lifewise Trust and Unitec Creative Industries, with support from the Auckland City Mission. It’s purpose is to grow the technology and business capabilities of people with lived experience of homelessness through the use of visual arts practice.

This one day exhibition at Ellen Melville Centre will be showcasing new artwork (digital prints & some originals) produced by the whanau over the last year.

It is also to introduce the new online sales website for the Piki project which has been made by Unitec computing students. This project is limited to artists who are residents of the central city, and have been homeless, or are currently homeless.

Perfect timing for picking up something special and unique for someone on your Christmas list.
