Contemporary and surprising Hispanic cuisine

Inti has now closed.

Executive Chef Javier Carmona takes diners on a fascinating journey from Central to South America and the modern and ancient cultures who have called this region home.

Inti, named for the Incan Sun God, puts a contemporary spin on Hispanic ingredients, flavours and techniques, serving up a playful and tasty selection of small bites, generous sharing dishes and decadent desserts.

Dishes are far removed from the simple tacos and quesadillas that most will associate with Hispanic food, with a refined hand applied to ingredients to produce surprising and intricate cuisine.

The space is brought to life with Hispanic-inspired wall work by aerosol artist, Flox, complementing the modern polished concrete bar, cool timber floor and warm lighting.

Spanish born Chef Javier is well renowned in the Auckland dining scene, most recently for his successful pop-up, Etxeberria, in Avondale, and previously for his award-winning tenure as Executive Chef for the Mouthful Group, looking after Mexico, Orleans and Beirut restaurants.

Park for $2 per hour, to a maximum of $10 on evenings and weekends at the Victoria St car park. Find out more.
