Major Sprout

From the team behind Dear Jervois

Major Sprout is something special.

This delicious Graham Street café was conceived by the impressive team behind Dear Jervois and Little King with a look, cuisine and atmosphere that is very easy to fall for.

It's hard to miss Major Sprout with it's bright white exterior and large, inviting windows showing off the sleek decor and tasty morsels waiting for you inside.

Walking through the door you're greeted with stunning and modern light fixtures, luscious greenery, white marble tables, glossy concrete floors and elegant display cabinets. The look of Major Sprout is well-polished with an industrial design influence, the feel is warm and welcoming with positive vibes radiating from the smiling staff and the busy kitchen. The design of Major Sprout comes solely from it's owner David Lee and was brought to life by Envoy Construction.

The menu, like every other element of this new eatery is on point and irresistible with tasty Korean influences. Choose from options like chorizo and smoked cheddar béchamel croquettes, a juicy angus beef burger, herbed broken eggs and asparagus or perhaps a delectable BiBamBap - the menu is varied but consistently mouthwatering. Coffee is supplied by the excellent Wellington Flight Coffee team with tea from Storm and India.

With vegetarian, dairy free, gluten free and raw options available there really is something for everyone to enjoy at this charming new spot with special treats exclusively supplied to Major Sprout by The Raw Kitchen.

Open for breakfast and lunch this is an easy choice for a quick but well-made coffee, a midday meal with work mates or a longer laid-back feast with the family.

When we visited during the soft launch it was already clear that this café is poised to become an exciting dining destination of the central city, bringing life and flavour to a rapidly growing precinct.
