In prime position looking out over Aotea Square, Aotea House is a relaxed destination for a bite or drink when you're out and about in Aotea Arts Quarter, before or after a visit to the Aotea Centre or Town Hall.
With hints of Maori and European culture in the decor, the interior is modern and warm with brick and wood, and the outdoor area is a refreshing garden oasis in the middle of the city.
Live performance is one of the touchstones of the Aotea House experience, with jazz performances and open mic sessions a regular fixture.
The menu features New Zealand produce prepared and served simply and naturally with inspiration from both Maori and European cuisine to create something uniquely Kiwi.
