86 on Fed
A new open air garden bar has popped up under the Sky Tower from 10 to 30 April, right as the Auckland CBD will be alive with the World Masters Games.
The bar will feature a different menu each week kicking off with Spanish cuisine by Peter Gordon’s Bellota, followed by lamb ribs and cheeseburgers from Andy’s Burger & Bar, and authentic Italian cuisine from Sean Connolly’s Gusto at the Grand for the final week.
With fabulous craft beer and cocktails, and delicious food, as well as live entertainment every night from 4pm-10pm, 86 on Fed will be a vibrant inner city spot every evening.
10-16 April: Spanish menu by Bellota
Featuring chorizo sandwich with capsicum salsa, Spanish basket with croquetas, potato bravas and goats cheese balls, and portobello mushroom semolina gnocchi.
18 – 23 April: Menu by Andy’s Burgers and Bar
Featuring lamb ribs with mint zaatar rub and pita, a cheese burger with bacon mayo, and steak fries.
24 – 30 April: Italian menu by Gusto at the Grand
Featuring antipasto plate, cured meats, grissini, pickles; spaghetti puttanesca; and marinated olives.
