Join Ockham NZ Book Awards longlisted author of Ruin and Other Stories Emma Hislop (Kāi Tahu) for a session that will illuminate the tips and tricks behind crafting a captivating work of short fiction. Through some fast-writing exercises to explore setting, description and tone and looking at examples of brilliant contemporary short fiction, you will leave armed with techniques to help encourage and elevate your short story writing.
