Summer on Queens Wharf makes a spirited return, with a kete of delights to enjoy and discover. The program, which begins on Wednesday 13th December 2023, and extends until Saturday 2nd March 2024, promises old favorites and new additions, turning the wharf into a hub of creativity, vitality and learning.

Visitors to the wharf will once again greet the sun with six Sunrise Yoga sessions—an amalgamation of invigorating poses, sea air, and breathtaking views, led by some of Aotearoa’s top yoga practitioners.

Alongside Sunrise Yoga, a few key favourites are returning for summer, including Morning People’s sea-side early morning rave and the popular Tie-Dye and Sewing Repair workshops.

The series also introduces some new and exciting summer-inspired activities, including an ice cream-making workshop that shows how simple it can be to shake out a favourite treat, a Sprout Up seedling cafeteria for potting, planting, and socialising, and an all-ages, costumed Queens Wharf Mermaid Parade - a colourful, DIY celebration of the beauty, protection, and prosperity of the Moana surrounding us. Summer on Queens Wharf 2023 - 2024 will be a feast for the senses.

All activities are free, with registration required for some events through the Queens Wharf Facebook page. Mark your calendars and make some memories at one of Tāmaki Makaurau’s best-loved moana-side taongas.

The Summer on Queens Wharf programme is brought to you by Eke Panuku Development Auckland with help from Interesting Things.
