"Do you know what happens to old actors?
Nothing. They’re still acting."
    - Tom Stoppard

Described by critics as exhilarating, brilliant, deranged, hilarious and soulful, Michael Hurst’s acclaimed solo performance finally arrives at Q.

Seven years in the making, No Holds Bard lives up to its name as Hurst brings decades of craft and consummate skill to this absurd theatrical tour de force.  See four of Shakespeare’s  greatest creations, warped into outrageousness in a paranoid, existential mash-up, come kicking and screaming into the bursting brain of an ageing actor struggling to find relevance as his time runs out.

“Tights, paranoia and blank verse combine in this rare performance by a mature actor in complete control of his craft.”
- Stagewhispers, Canberra.

“A bravura performance of immense energy and intensity, brilliantly walking the tightrope between genuine tragedy and insane comedy.” ★★★★★ - SG Fringe, Edinburgh

‘A tsunami of a performance…” ★★★★ - Edinburgh Splotlight, Edinburgh
