Possessing one of the most streamed voices on the planet, MØ will arrive in New Zealand with her latest album Forever Neverland tucked securely under her arm. MØ will perform one show at Shed 10 in Auckland on April 23.
Released in October last year, it added a sparser side to this wildly popular alt-popstar’s arsenal, while losing none of the bite that took her to the top. Known to her friends as Karen Marie Ørsted, MØ has built an audience as a featured vocalist on tracks by the likes of Snakehips, Cashmere Cat, SOPHIE, Noah Cyrus, Justin Bieber (the mega-hit Cold Water) and of course Diplo (their collaboration, Major Lazer’s Lean On just ticked over 1 billion streams on Spotify alone). Last seen in these parts hanging out with fellow superstar Sia, MØ’s first solo show in Auckland will see her at the peak of some considerable powers.
