Archived: Bowie. Starman

Thursday 6 April

The Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra is celebrating the legacy of David Bowie with a concert of his greatest music interpreted and performed by some of New Zealand's finest contemporary artists. Kiwi music legends John Toogood, Julia Deans, Ladi6 and Laughton Kora will all be performing their favourite Bowie songs on stage with the APO.

Bowie is regarded as one of the most influential artists of our time. Over five decades he has experimented with different musical genres, shaped contemporary culture and was the master of reinvention.

From 'Ziggy Stardust' to 'Space Oddity', 'Rebel Rebel' to 'Let's Dance' - all the classics will be there.

Don't miss out on this incredible one-off concert - we recommend getting in quick as this one is sure to sell out.
