Celebrate Auckland’s vibrant Indian culture at the annual Auckland Diwali Festival.
For it's 18th year in a row, expect to be dazzled by an exciting array of international and local live music and dance, a delectable range of Indian foods and sweets, street theatre and workshops, and a spectacular fireworks display.
This year, Diwali Festival is taking place on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 October from 12 - 9pm each day.
It’s a celebration of Auckland’s ethnic diversity and a chance to enjoy and experience traditional and contemporary Indian culture in its many exciting forms.
The festival is free to attend, alcohol-free, smoke-free and family friendly.
Make sure you're in Aotea Square on the Sunday evening for the epic annual fireworks display as the festival draws to a close.
Vector Lights for Diwali Festival
09 - 13 October 2019, from 6pm to midnight, Auckland Harbour Bridge
The Auckland Harbour Bridge will come to life with a spectacular light show to celebrate the festival.
