If the bar for quartet excellence was already set stratospherically high, the UK’s Doric String Quartet has surely launched it into orbit. Founded in 1998, the Quartet has firmly established itself as the leading British string quartet of its generation, receiving enthusiastic responses from audiences and critics across the globe.

Whether tackling the delicate nuances of earlier composers, or embracing the dramatic gestures of contemporary ones, the Dorics meet every artistic challenge with a captivating blend of sophistication and passion.

Described by Gramophone magazine as “one of the finest young string quartets”, whose members are “musicians with fascinating things to say” the Quartet is a regular visitor to some of Europe’s leading concert halls, has a particularly close relationship with the Wigmore Hall in London and undertakes annual tours of North America.

Spoil yourself with this vibrant world-class string quartet.
