The Divine Muses offers a stellar reading from nine of New Zealand's finest poets.

Celebrate Phantom Billstickers National Poetry Day 2019 by coming along to hear new readings from a rich mix of established and emerging authors, will bring together a mix of emerging and established poets. This year's readers are Raewyn Alexander, Bob Orr, Maualaivao Albert Wendt, Helen Rickerby, Siobhan Harvey, Essa May Ranapiri and Vana Manasiadis, as well as MC Michael Giacon and Judge of 2019 NEW VOICES Emerging Poets Competition, Elizabeth Welsh. This is the 16th anniversary of this reading. During the evening, the winners of the 2019 NEW VOICES – Emerging Poets Competition will be announced by Elizabeth Welsh, and invited to read their poems.

$2 per hour to a max of $12 on weekends and a $12 flat rate for weekday evenings at The Civic car park. Find out more
