with Kirk Westaway & Nobu Lee at Clooney

“Simple yet complex” is how Chef Kirk Westaway of the Michelin-starred Jaan in Singapore describes his cuisine. Others have described it as “technically challenging yet beautifully harmonious.''

Originally, from Devon England, Kirk has cooked and travelled extensively, now choosing to use a contemporary take on classical British techniques at Jaan, that have won him many accolades including 2016 winner of the S.Pellegrino Young Chef competition (South East Asia) and Rising Chef of the Year at the World Gourmet Summit Awards of Excellence.

Hosts of the event, 3-hatted and Auckland favourite, Clooney and new Chef Nobu Lee share a similar philosophy to Kirk Westaway and Jaan – using the best available ingredients and creating culinary magic through preparation and presentation.

Lee who was born in Taipei and raised in Tokyo found a passion for food at an early age and began learning his craft in Asia’s top restaurants and hotels. The elegance of Kirk’s dishes are perfectly aligned with Chef Nobu Lees craft and standards and Lee is set to join Kirk for 5 days in Singapore prior to the event to ensure culinary perfection is guaranteed.
