The Auckland Town Hall is hosting the internationally recognised Michael Hill International Violin Competition - three evenings of exquisite chamber music performed by the country's best young violinists.
After the quarter-finals in Queenstown, six semi-finalists are heading up to Auckland for Round Three, Mozart String Quintets, which takes place on 7 and 8 June. In the thrilling final event on 10 June, the top three violinists will perform concerti.
$2 per hour to a max of $12 on weekends and a $12 flat rate for weekday evenings at The Civic car park. Find out more.
