Take a chance on a blind date with a book...
Indulge in a fun and free Valentine’s activity that is as mysterious and adventurous as a blind date, and you could be in to win one of two amazing experiences at Auckland’s Cordis Hotel.
Simply visit your local library between 4-24 February, borrow a Blind Date read, complete the entry card, and you are in the draw to win either:
- A Romantics package of an overnight stay for two in an elegant Deluxe room with complimentary valet parking, wine and chocolates, late checkout and so much more to make your romantic celebration complete.
- Or the Cordis Hotel’s signature High Tea for two - an array of handcrafted sweets, pastries and scones, served on elegant china, with assistance from a tea sommelier matching tea blends to your tea time treats. This is the ultimate celebratory outing.
Blind date reads are fiction and non-fiction books selected by our librarians and wrapped up to make them a surprise, with a few clues to intrigue you.
Your blind date may be funny, informative, entertaining, scary or heart-breaking, maybe even a little odd. It could lead to a new and surprising, never-would-have-picked-that reading experience. You won’t know until you get it home!
By the way, multiple 'dates' are allowed. They are free and ready to meet you!
You must be 18 years or older to enter the draw.
