Get ready to celebrate all things Irish this Friday as St. Patrick’s Day will be hitting the heart of the city once again. There’s plenty of fun to be had and to help you make the most of this awesome day we’ve curated a list of some great spots where you can enjoy a Guinness and some fun.

O’Hagans Irish Pub
Start the day off properly with a traditional Irish breakfast down at O'Hagans Irish Pub from 7.00am. Dig into a plate that comes complete with breakfast sausages, bacon, baked beans, hashbrowns, mushrooms, tomato and scrambled eggs to make it a cracking start to the day.

Danny Doolans
Then follow up this hearty breakfast with a stopover at Danny Doolans and celebrate St. Patrick's Day from 11.00am with live music, traditional Irish folk dancing and some great giveaways.

Father Ted's
It wouldn’t be St. Patrick’s Day without a visit to Father Ted’s on Wellesley Street who’ll be hosting an epic day with plenty of live music and great drinks specials. If you’re wanting an authentic St. Patrick’s Day experience then it doesn’t get any better than Father Ted's. 

The Empire

Sammy’s Place
Not only does Sammy’s Place have some terrific live music from Lee Grey from 7.05pm – 8.35pm and 2Fold from 9.05pm until 12am, but they’ve also got some terrific drinks specials as well. Treat yourself to the Irish Mule which features Jameson whiskey, fresh lime, ginger beer, honey and bitters or sample the Currant Affair which includes Jameson whiskey, crème de cassis liqueur, apple juice, fresh lemon juice and simple syrup. Both are available for $12 each.

TwentyOne
If you like live music then TwentyOne is the place to be this St. Patrick’s Day. Prepare for three great DJ acts that include DJ Karn Hall from 8.00pm until 11.00pm, DJ Ziesha Fremaux from 11.00pm until 1.00am and DJ Russell Hodgson from 1.00am until 3.00am.

The Shakespeare Hotel and Brewery
