The countdown is officially on with Sephora having announced it's first New Zealand store will open Saturday 20 July 2019.
The pre-opening festivities started last weekend, with Sephora’s black and white striped double-decker Beauty Bus travelling the country for customers to touch, swatch and trial products. The bus first opened its doors in Christchurch, and will spend the next two weeks getting up shop in Wellington, Hamilton and finally Auckland, where it will land to give local Auckland beauty fans two-days of makeup play before the main event.
Fans who are keen see the doors of the global brand open in Auckland can arrive on Queen Street from 7am on Saturday 20th July to kick off the pre-opening party. Two of Auckland's hottest DJs, Soraya and Andy Heart Throb will be on the deck, and the first 500 people who arrive will take away the main prize of a Zoeva Premiere Eyeshadow Palette ($49), alongside oodles of Sephora samples being handed out until the doors open at 9am.
Fans can stay warm with coffee and hot chocolates available in sustainable Sephora thermoses, alongside a crepe cart (paying homage to the brands French heritage) serving up delicious treats to those in line.
Sephora will be located at 152 Queen St.
