The highly-anticipated Auckland Downtown precinct Commercial Bay has announced its next wave of fashion store tenants, bringing together a carefully curated mix of established local favourites and first-to-market global brands.
French fashion labels Sandro and Maje will certainly get the attention of fashionistas when they make their debut to Kiwi shores. Maje epitomises femininity and joie-de-vivre, while Sandro is chic, sleek and cool.
Among the other international brands joining the Commercial Bay line-up are American handbag and accessories label Kate Spade New York, Hugo Boss, Italian leather goods brand Furla and Australian footwear designer, Wittner Shoes.
On the comestic side, Dior Perfumes and Beauty will be opening its first boutique in New Zealand alongside L'Occitane and MECCA, which will meld together its existing Cosmetica and Maxima concepts at its Commercial Bay location.
Some Kiwi favourites brands will also have a spot in the new precinct - Brittain Wynyard will open the first of its new footwear concept, Solect, retailing a range of premium brands. Furthermore, clothing brand Federation, high-quality menswear retailers, 3 Wise Men and Barkers, boutique footwear offering Scarpa and boutique hair specialist, Loxy’s, join the already announced Superette and Just Another Fisherman at the precinct.
Other fashion brands already announced for Commercial Bay are: H&M (already opened), Rodd & Gunn and Hershel Supply Co.
On top of its incredible fashion offering, Commercial Bay is set to include an aspirational mix of food and beverage including acclaimed restaurants and bars, beauty, and specialty retail – overall, the precinct will feature more than 100 retailers. With 84 per cent of space already committed, Commercial Bay retail will open around March/April 2020.
