We've wrapped up another delicious Restaurant Month (1-31 August 2017) in the central city with spectacular highlights including our renowned Chef Dining Series, new events and mouthwatering special menus from over 100 central city eateries. 

Check out some of our favourite moments this Restaurant Month:

CHEF DINING SERIES 

A Taste of Tippling Club at O'Connell Street Bistro
Ryan Clift, chef and proprietor of the Tippling Club in Singapore (one of Asia's most acclaimed and ultra-progressive modern restaurants) paired up Mark Southon and unleashed modernist cuisine with a menu of six fun and playful dishes. 

A Taste of Great China at Huami, SKYCITY
Renowned Kiwi chef Nic Watt of MASU and Huami Executive Chef Jeff Tan collaborated to present a five-course degustation with cuisine from the regions of Canton, Sichuan, Huaiyang and Beijing – including duck courses from an authentic wood-fired duck oven, a New Zealand first.

A Taste of Paper Daisy at Euro
Euro Bar & Restaurant celebrated New Zealand's incredible bounty at one of Auckland’s most iconic waterfront restaurants – with keen forager Ben Devlin and Gareth Stewart who delivered a veritable feast of wild and seasonal cuisine.

OTHER FOODIE EVENTS

Street Eats with Holden Spark
Restaurant teams across the central city came together at Shed 10 on Queens Wharf to serve up a myriad of different international styles and flavours with their take on the hottest global street food. 

Truffle Shuffle
The Grill by Sean Connolly became the home of a spectacular truffle season celebration for an afternoon, presenting four delicious truffle-induced dishes.

Food to Die For
Theatre and intrigue met creative cuisine for an unforgettable dining experience at Pilkingtons as guests were all key players in solving a mystery.
