Euro's Pre-Theatre Menu - Braised Beef Cheek with Celeriac Risotto

Central city restaurant Euro is introducing delicious new winter dishes and a fantastic-value pre-theatre menu.

Executive chef Gareth Stewart and head chef Adam Rickett have put the contemporary Euro spin on winter comfort food, with new dishes including smoked pig’s cheek with butternut squash gnocchi, 63-degree egg and pea shoot pesto; and braised beef cheek with celeriac risotto and mascarpone (pictured below).

Another highlight is smoked Te Mana lamb with ajo blanco, witlof and wild wheat. Te Mana lambs are specially bred in the New Zealand high country and finished on chicory pasture, to ensure premium flavour. The meat is finely marbled, as well as being rich in essential omega-3s.

Euro is also celebrating its stunning location at Princes Wharf and proximity with ASB Waterfront Theatre by offering a special pre-theatre menu: $45 for two courses; $55 for three. It’s available from 5pm-7pm, seven nights a week.

Diners can choose from the likes of free-range chicken with Jerusalem artichoke, truffle and jus; and dukkah-crusted duck breast with duck leg cigar and house-made hoisin. The banana ice cream sundae with peanut butter mousse, chocolate brownie and salted caramel (pictured below) is also a must-try.

Book for a meal before your show and Euro will guarantee to have you in and out within an hour.
