Buck a Shuck - $1 Bluff Oysters at The Grill by Sean Connolly
March 3 & 4, from 12pm - 6pm, 90 Federal Street

On 3 and 4 March, from 12.30pm - 3pm and 5pm - 7pm, start the Bluff oyster season with a not-to-miss special from The Grill by Sean Connolly with $1 freshly shucked oysters available on request.

Top-notch Britomart eateries are celebrating the return of Bluff oysters with special dishes and not-to-miss offers. Head to Ostro, Ebisu or Seven for lunch and dinner and enjoy the freshest Bluffies starting from 3 March.

  • Rosé of the Day: Grab half a dozen oysters and a glass of rosé for $25 at Euro, Coley & Punch and The Culpeper. Available any day during March.
  • Bluff Oysters and Champagne: Enjoy a dozen Bluff oysters with two glasses of Louis Roederer Champagne for $80, or make it a bottle for just $155, at Coley and Punch, Euro or The Culpeper. Available any day during March.

The First Haul Lunch with All You Can Eat Bluff Oysters

Be among the first in the country to tuck into new-season Bluffies at Euro’s all-you-can-eat extravaganza. Oysters will be served natural, kilpatrick and tempura, alongside kaimoana platters.

Celebrate the return of the Bluff delicacy while soaking up the sun on the deck at Headquarters with their stellar special - a dozen oysters for $10.  Elevate your experience and palate by pairing it with the Moet and Chandon Ice Imperial $90 bottle or try the Domaine Aubuisieres Chenin Blanc $15 glass / $70 bottle. All You Can Eat Bluff Oyster Long Lunch

The annual event celebrating the beginning of Bluff oyster season returns this March with an all you can eat long lunch you simply can't miss. The menu includes  all you can eat freshly shucked Bluffies served natural, battered, kilpatrick and panko crumbed, as well as mouthwatering Big Glory Bay Salmon, Wakanui Beef and so much more.

The latest addition to the waterfront line-up in the historic Ferry Building is a great option for a long lunch or after-work catch-up with oysters, bubbly and other tasty sea morsels. We especially recommend the mouthwatering oysters served with a pink grapefruit and prosecco granita.
