ASb marathon

Planning on running the ASB Auckland Marathon on Sunday 20 October or coming to support your friends and family who are taking on the challenge? We've rounded for you the best spots around Victoria Park to make the most out of your day there.

If you're waiting at the finish line, head to Graham Street first to grab a takeaway coffee (don't forget your Keepcup!) or choose from the delicious range of juices and smoothies at Cali Press.

If you plan to sit in, check out other gems on Graham Street for a delicious breakfast, such as Major Sprout and Elk Eatery.

When the race is over, it might be time for lunch, and rooftop eateries La Zeppa or Tom Tom Bar & Eatery are perfect places to soak up the sun, overlooking where the half and full marathon ends on the grass at Victoria Park. There's also Dice & Fork directly below them, if you're keen for a great bite to eat and engage in some brain fitness with a board game at the same time (a restaurant which also has over 140 board games to choose from.) Check out our other favourite brunch and lunch spots in and around Victoria Park here.

A special event taking place on Sunday is the Victoria Park Market Fit Festival - where there will be food trucks, retail stalls, reiki and massage - a complimentary extension to the ASB Auckland Marathon. It's definitely worth a visit.
