Ice Cream Sundae Market at Silo Park
27 January 2019, Silo Park

Come down and celebrate Auckland Anniversary at Silo Park with their second annual ice cream sunday market from noon 12pm to 5pm. More than 20 epic ice cream brands will descend on Silo Park with new flavours, and family favourites, ready for people to try and buy. There will be ice cream for everyone including dairy-free and gluten-free options. Alongside ice cream will be other delightful desserts, hot food trucks, awesome DJs and a pop up Silo bar.

Ports of Auckland SeePort Festival
26 - 28 January 2019, Captain Cook Wharf

Port of Auckland's SeePort festival is returning in 2019 for its sixth year of seaside. Head down to Quay Street to check out the port as Captain Cook Wharf is transformed into a bustling summer festival. Carnival rides, boat sailings, helicopter rides, music and much more!

The Auckland Symphony Orchestra will be performing on the wharf alongside a well-known trio of iconic New Zealand vocalits; The Lady Killers. The evening will conclude with a spectacular fireworks finale from 6pm - 10pm.

St Jerome's Laneway Festival
28 January 2018, Albert Park

2019 marks the 10th anniversary of St.Jerome Laneway Festival in Auckland and for the special occasion the amazing Florence + The Machine return after performing on the first ever Auckland Laneway in 2010. Head to Albert Park to enjoy the stellar line-up and savour some delicious street food.

Come on board for one hour cruise for unrivaled views of the Auckland Harbour Bridge. On the 27th January, there will be a fireworks display which will be viewved from the cruise.

Vector Lights on Auckland Anniversary Weekend
25 - 29 January 2019, Auckland Harbour Bridge

Vector Lights on the iconic Auckland Harbour Bridge is celebrating its first birthday this Auckland Anniversary Weekend with a replay of last year's dazzling opening show. The six-minute sustainable light show references Tama-Nui te Rā (the sun), Hikohiko (electrical energy), and Hei te Ao Mārama (the future world of light), and weaves visuals with original sound and music. You can enjoy the show every 15 mins from Friday 25 to Monday 28 January 2019 between 9pm until midnight. 

Vector Lights on Auckland Anniversary Weekend is part of a smart energy partnership between Vector and Auckland Council in collaboration with the NZ Transport Agency, the guiding light toward a smart energy future.
