A global art project for peace

Inspired by the belief that art is a powerful communicator and intimately entwined with the human condition, Peace in 10,000 Hands is a global initiative to photograph an ancient symbol of peace in the hands of 10,000 people from every country on the planet with the intent to create a visual provocation through contemporary artwork to invigorate the global conversation for peace.

This project aims to raise $100M to support charities, foundations and projects around the world dedicated to fostering peace through youth education, safety and climate action.

To date, founder of Peace in 10,000 Hands, Stu Robertson has travelled over 50 countries capturing portraits and garnering the support of world leaders, iconic figures and global thought leaders from Noble Peace Laureates to Hollywood celebrities.

“I believe art has the power to break down human barriers and create change. Art moves effortlessly across borders, speaks profoundly to the heart of humans, and sparks emotion and inspiration in every one.” - Stu Robertson
