On Saturday, 6 April, an epic pop-up market is coming to Takutai Square in Britomart and Te Komititanga (the plaza between the Britomart Transport Centre and Commercial Bay). 

Two beloved markets, the Britomart Saturday Market and General Collective are coming together for one incredible event. Explore a vibrant array of curated stalls, showcasing the finest crafts, fashion, art, homewares, products for kids and gourmet delights.

Whether you're hunting for unique treasures or simply soaking up the lively atmosphere, there's something for everyone at the Downtown Market, and it’s free!

The Britomart Saturday Market in Takutai Square opens at the usual time of 8am, and the General Collective market showcase will take place in Te Komititanga opening from 10am, giving you plenty of time to explore the stalls, grab a bite to eat, and make the most of your day.
