During 4 Days of Fashion in the City, we're celebrating the future of Auckland's fashion scene, with the AUT Fashion - The Evolving Designer exhibition, showcasing three generations of emerging Fashion designers.

The exhibition consists of collections from AUT final year Fashion students, Rookie 2016 and a group of AUT Fashion postgraduates known as the Creative Common Occupation (CCO).

The collections designed by AUT final year students, were inspired by a summer project creating a “Visual Autobiography”.  The visual autobiography considered questions such as “if you were introducing yourself to someone for the first time, what would you want them to know about you – how would you like to be perceived?”

The opening will take place on Thursday 30 March between 5pm and 8pm, with a special fashion show at 6.30pm. The exhibition will be open between 12pm and 8pm daily from 31 March to 2 April.

This event is part of 4 Days of Fashion in the City, in association with
